This article outlines the types of users in Happeo and how they are given access to Channels and Pages.
Guest users
- In Happeo, guest users, also known as external users, are individuals who are not affiliated with a specific organization
- These users are invited to participate in Channels by email or through a group
- These users are invited to participate in Pages through a group
- Not visible in Org Chart
External users
- External users belong to a different organization (as opposed to no organization)
- These users are invited to participate in Channels by email or through a group
- These users are invited to participate in Pages through a group
- Not visible in Org Chart
Trusted users
- Trusted users belong to a different organization that is trusted and therefore are considered internal users rather than external users
- These users are invited to participate in Channels by email or through a group
- These users are invited to participate in Pages via a group or individually
- Visible in Org Chart if the manager field is applied
- Not visible if removed from Search
- Not visible if suspended
Invited users
- Invited users belong to your organization and are invited via email
- These users are invited to participate in Channels by email or through a group
- These users are invited to participate in Pages via a group or individually
- Not visible in Org Chart because the manager field cannot be filled
- Cannot be removed from Search
Normal users
- Normal users belong to your organization and are pulled in via a provisioning source
- These users are invited to participate in Channels by email or through a group
- These users are invited to participate in Pages via a group or individually
- Visible in Org Chart if the manager field is filled
- Not visible if removed from Search
- Not visible if suspended
