Recommended Image Sizes

This article goes through the recommended sizes for Channel and Page hero images.

Happeo is designed to be responsive no matter which size screen you're working with. This means that you cannot fully control how the end-user sees the image you've added to Happeo - how it looks depends on if they are on their phones, tablets, or desktop computers.

Image uploaded to a post

Max-size: 2560 x 2560px.

Aspect ratio: Portrait images are scaled down in a feed, whereas horizontal images are shown 100% of the column width. 

Article post cover image

Recommended size: 2560 x 1000px (500 @2x density).

Aspect ratio: horizontal / landscape image.

Image uploaded to an Article post

Max-size: 2560 x 2560px.

Aspect ratio: No restrictions.

Channel Header image

Recommended size: 2560 x 640px (320 @2x density).

Aspect ratio: Horizontal / landscape image.

Pages Header (hero) image

The Page hero image is dynamic, meaning the recommended image size changes as you adjust the height of the hero image in Page Group Styles > Styles > Edit Template > Hero > Layout.

Recommended aspect ratio: 3:5:1 (1428 x 400px).

Aspect ratio: Horizontal / landscape image.

Pages background image

Recommended size: 2560 x 1920px.

Aspect ratio: No restrictions, unnecessary parts are cropped automatically.
