What are channel filters?

Happeo's Channel Filters offer detailed analytics on channel content consumption, allowing admins to understand what resonates with users. With filters like channel name, owner, and visibility, admins can optimize content strategy for better engagement and relevance.

Conditions

Channel filters include specific conditions (attribute, operator, and value) to filter your data. Specifically:

  • Attributes
    • Channel name
    • Hashtags
    • Visibility
    • State
    • Members count
    • Owner
    • Editor
    • Organisation name
  • Operators
    • Is or Is not
    • Contains
    • Equals, is more than or equal to, is less than or equal to
    • Is, is before, is after, is between
  • Values (dependent on the attribute(s) chosen). Examples of values include:
    • Active (channel state)
    • Ask to join (channel visibility)
    • Tim Smith (owner)

To learn more about filters and conditions, please see this article.

Example scenario

Say you want to see data only for channels that are open for anyone to join without request.

  • Attribute – Visibility
  • Operator – Is
  • Value – Open

By setting this filter, you'd tell Happeo to show you information only for those channels where the "Visibility" attribute equals "Open.”
