HiBob Widget

This article is about installing and using the HiBob Widget.

Package information: The HiBob Widget is available for all packages, including Legacy.

What is the HiBob Widget?

The HiBob Page Widget:

• Tracks time off: This Widget displays information about visiting users' time off within your organization
• Easy access for everyone: Once installed, Page Owners and Editors can add it to their relevant Pages. Visiting users can then easily view their time off information in two ways:
  • Time off balance: See how much time they have remaining
  • Time off requests: Track the status of their pending and approved request

How to install the HiBob Widget

Installing the HiBob Page Widget is simple! 

As an Admin, you can:

1. Navigate to the Admin Settings (by clicking on your Happeo avatar in the top-right corner of the page)
2. Go to Apps (Happeo’s App Marketplace)
3. Select HiBob Widget
   1. You can find it in the Pages tab or
   2. You can search for it in the search bar
   3. You can also find it in All apps 
4. Click on Add to Happeo
5. Review and accept the terms and conditions
6. Once installed, a setup is required
   1. A setup message might appear after accepting the terms and conditions. Click ‘Setup’
   2. If the message doesn't appear, click the ‘Setup’ button next to ‘Uninstall’

A new page will open that includes instructions on how to get the necessary API key. 

Once you’ve copied and pasted the ‘Service ID’ and ‘API token,’ you can click ‘Save’ to complete the process.

How to use the HiBob Widget in Pages

Add the HiBob Widget to a Page

To add the HiBob Widget to a Page, you can simply:

1. Navigate to a Page where you wish to add the Widget
2. Click on the edit symbol at the top right corner of the Page
3. Add a new Section if you haven’t done so already
4. Hover over the section and click on Add Widget
5. Select the HiBob Widget from the Page Widget list

HiBob Widget options

The HiBob Widget can show either a user’s:

• Timeoff Balance – The number of days a visiting user can take time off
• Timeoff Requests – The requests (if any) a visiting user has made to take time off. These include pending and approved requests

To choose between the two options, click on the drop-down menu under ‘Widget type’ and select the option you wish to use for your Widget.

How to uninstall the HiBob Widget

Uninstalling the HiBob Widget is simple! 

As an Admin, you can:

1. Navigate to the Admin Settings (by clicking your avatar)
2. Go to Apps
3. Click on the HiBob app 
4. Select Uninstall
5. Click Yes, uninstall
