This article explains how to use the Kudos Page Widget to recognize the great work of others based on your company values, including what data it shows, how to configure it, and when it’s most effective for reinforcing culture and alignment.

Pages 2.0 refers to the new version of Happeo Pages, released on April 2, 2025. All Happeo accounts created from this date onward use the new page editor by default.

How to use the Kudos Page Widget

The Kudos Page Widget helps you make recognition visible beyond individual posts and profiles. By placing the widget on a Page, you give teams an at-a-glance view of how recognition shows up across people and values, without needing to search through Channels.

The Kudos Page Widget is available in Pages 2.0 only and works especially well in Pages that focus on culture, alignment, and shared context. Common examples include HR hubs, culture and values pages, leadership spaces, or team overview pages where you want to highlight positive behaviors and reinforce what matters most.

What the widget shows

The Kudos Widget displays leaderboard-style insights based on:

  • People: Shows who have received and sent the most Kudos, helping spotlight contributions across the organization.
  • Values: Shows which company values are most frequently recognized, making it easier to see how your culture shows up in day-to-day work.

Configure the Kudos page widget

When adding the widget to a Page, you can customize what data it displays:

  • Channel source: Select the Channel the widget should pull Kudos data from. Each widget can display data from one Channel only. If you want to highlight Kudos from multiple Channels, you can add multiple Kudos Widgets to the same Section and configure each one with a different Channel.
  • Time range: Filter the data by All time, Last month, Last quarter, Last 12 months, or a custom date range. This allows you to focus on recent activity or long-term trends.
  • Widget presentation: Like all Pages 2.0 widgets, you can add a custom widget header and adjust the styling to match the Page layout and visual hierarchy. Read more.

When to use the Kudos Page Widget

Use the Kudos Page Widget when you want to:

  • Make recognition easy to discover without scrolling through Channel posts.
  • Reinforce company values in shared knowledge hubs.
  • Give leaders and teams a lightweight view into recognition patterns.
  • Keep culture and appreciation visible in Pages people return to regularly.

💡 Tip: Place the widget near related content, such as your company values, onboarding materials, or team principles. This helps connect recognition with the knowledge and behaviors your organization wants to encourage.
