How to move Pages within a Page Group
To move a Page within a Page Group, you can:
- Navigate to the Page Group in which the Page you want to move resides
- Click on Edit Page at the top right corner
- Select Manage Pages at the bottom of the Page Settings Menu
-
Hover over the Page you wish to move
-
Drag the Page from the six dots that appear
- And drop the Page wherever you want to move it
- Move a Page in between Pages to change its order of visibility
- Move the Page into a Page to create a Subpage
- Move a Page into a Subpage to create a Subpage
When will the Page or Subpage URL change?
Let's say you have a Page called "Support" within a Page Group. When you move "Support" to another Page, "Support" will become a Subpage, and therefore will have a different URL.
If you move the Subpage "Support" to another Subpage, the URL will remain the same as what it changed into, because it remains a Subpage.
Basically, when you move a Page, the URL will only change if the Page becomes a Subpage and vice versa.
If you copy a Page or Subpage to a different Page Group, the URL will change.
And of course, if you change the Page or Subpage name, the URL will also change, reflecting the name change.
