In this article, you can learn how to create Pages and how to manage them.

You can create multiple Pages inside one Page Group, move them under other Pages, and delete & change the landing page.

To create a Page, you can:

  1. Navigate to a Page Group from the Page Navigation
  2. Click the edit symbol at the top right corner of the page
  3. Click Manage pages from the Page Settings Menu at the bottom
  4. Click Add Page
  5. Set the Page name

How to Manage Pages

Organizing placement of Pages

Pages can be managed from the Manage Pages section as detailed earlier. You can move a Page by dragging and dropping it where you want (hover over a Page until you see the six dotted symbol).

You can also click on the three dots next to a Page and create a Subpage for the Page. For more information, please see this article

Setting as a home page

You can also change the Page Group home page by clicking the three dots next to a Page and selecting Set as home page.

How to move Pages within a Page Group

To move a Page within a Page Group, you can:

  1. Navigate to the Page Group in which the Page you want to move resides
  2. Click on Edit Page at the top right corner
  3. Select Manage Pages at the bottom of the Page Settings Menu
  4. Hover over the Page you wish to move
  5. Drag the Page from the six dots that appear
  6. And drop the Page wherever you want to move it
    1. Move a Page in between Pages to change its order of visibility
    2. Move the Page into a Page to create a Subpage
    3. Move a Page into a Subpage to create a Subpage

When will the Page or Subpage URL change?

Let's say you have a Page called "Support" within a Page Group. When you move "Support" to another Page, "Support" will become a Subpage, and therefore will have a different URL.

If you move the Subpage "Support" to another Subpage, the URL will remain the same as what it changed into, because it remains a Subpage.

Basically, when you move a Page, the URL will only change if the Page becomes a Subpage and vice versa.

If you copy a Page or Subpage to a different Page Group, the URL will change.

And of course, if you change the Page or Subpage name, the URL will also change, reflecting the name change.

How to Copy Pages

Copying a Page from a Page group into a different Page or Page group is handy when you wish to duplicate Pages or use a Page as a starting point for a new Page.

  • When you copy a Page into another Page within a different Page Group, that copied Page becomes a Subpage
  • If you copy a Page into another Page Group, that Page will become an individual Page within the selected Page Group
  • Coping a Page into the same Page group in which it resides will create a new Page
  • Lastly, copying a Page into a Page within the same Page Group in which it resides will create a new Subpage

Using Page Templates

Another way to copy multiple individual Pages from one Page Group and create a new Page Group from them is to use the Templates feature.

Save the Pages you want to copy as a new template, then use that template. At the moment, to copy to existing Page Groups, you'll have to copy them one by one.

How to archive a Page

Happeo does not delete Pages. Instead, we archive Pages in case you may want to bring back the Page.

If you want to archive a Page:

  1. Navigate to the Page Group in which the Page you want to archive resides
  2. Click on Edit Page at the top right corner
  3. Select Manage Pages at the bottom of the Page Settings Menu
