Note: Posts you've participated in include those you've created or subscribed to and those with your comments and reactions.
Notification filtering options
Easily find the notifications you need by using these filter options:
Category filters
-
All: Offers a complete view of all notifications, providing a comprehensive overview of all recent activities.
- For example, notifications include new channel memberships, posts, reactions, comments, mentions, announcements, etc.
- Announcements: Displays only notifications for new announcements, helping users stay updated on important company-wide messages.
- Mentions: Shows notifications specifically for new mentions, allowing users to quickly identify when they are directly involved in a conversation or discussions.
Sorting filters
- Newest/Oldest: Arranges notifications chronologically, either with the most recent or oldest notifications at the top (no more than 3 months old).
Read status filter
-
Only unread: This toggle allows you to view only notifications that you haven't yet opened.
- When ‘Only unread’ is active, opening a notification will remove it from the displayed list.
- This filter can be combined with any of the category filters (all, announcements, mentions) to refine your view further.
- To view previously read notifications, you must turn off the ‘Only unread’ filter and view the notifications within the "All" category.
Notification display options
Users can view notifications in two formats: detailed and compact. To switch between the two, click the three dots at the top-right corner of the notification menu.

- Provides comprehensive information about posts, helping you understand the context of the notification and determine whether immediate attention is required.
- Highlights the core topic, such as the user who posted.
- Includes a preview or snippet of the relevant content (e.g. a portion of the post).
Compact view
- Offers a streamlined overview of notifications.
- Focuses on the primary subject of the notification (e.g. the user involved).
- Excludes detailed content previews, presenting only the essential notification details.
