Posting to multiple Channels. What does it entail?

Posting to multiple Channels refers to creating a Post or Article and publishing it to several Channels simultaneously. This means that the users of the Channels you have posted to will be able to view your Post, even if the Channels you’ve selected have different Participants. 

Moreover, each Post will have a different activity depending on the Channels in which it resides. This means that if a user comments on the post in a specific Channel, other Channels will not be affected (i.e. have the same comment). 

If you wish to edit the Post or Article, you can navigate to any of the Channels you posted to and edit the content. These changes will then be reflected in all of the Channels you posted to.

How to create a Post for multiple Channels

To create a Post to multiple Channels:

1. Navigate to one of the Channels you wish to create a Post to
2. Click on the type field to begin writing your Post
3. Once you’ve written your Post, above the selection field for formatting your text, you will find the name of the Channel to which you are posting and the option to add another Channel you wish to post to. Select Add Channel
4. Tick the boxes next to the Channels you wish to post to. You can select as many as you like
   1. You can choose between a list of all Channels
   2. Or a list of Channels you’ve bookmarked
   3. You can also search for a specific Channel using the Search Bar
5. Click Continue once you’ve chosen the Channels you wish to post to
6. You will then be presented with a list of all the Channels you selected. If the selection looks good, click Confirm
7. To ensure that the Channels were selected, you should find an overview above the text formatting options. You can hover over the overview to view exactly which Channels will be posted to
8. Once everything looks good, click Post
9. A pop-up will then appear, announcing that your Post will be published on multiple Channels. Click on Post to multiple Channels

How to create an Article for multiple Channels

To create an Article for multiple Channels:

1. Navigate to one of the Channels you wish to publish the Article to
2. Select Create article below the Post typing field
3. Write the Article 
4. Once you’re done, select Add Channel next to the Channel name to which you are initially posting to
5. Much like publishing a Post, you can select an unlimited number of Channels to post to, either from the All Channels tab or the Bookmarked tab. You can also search for Channels from the search field
6. Click Continue once you’ve chosen the Channels you wish to post to
7. You will then be presented with a list of all the Channels you selected. If the selection looks good, click Confirm
8. To ensure that the Channels were selected, you should find an overview of the Channels you selected by hovering over the field displaying the number of Channels you are posting to
9. Once everything looks good, click Publish
10. A pop-up will then appear, announcing that your Article will be published on multiple Channels. Click Post to multiple Channels

Editing the list of Channels that have been posted to

When you edit a Post or Article, you can choose to remove a Channel from the list of Channels you posted to. By doing so, the Post or Article will be deleted from the Channel you removed. 

You can also add Channels that were not added prior, therefore publishing the Post or Article into the newly added Channels.
