Edit and Publish a Draft

In this article, you can learn how to publish a Channel draft.

Save a Post draft

Happeo offers the option to save Posts as drafts that are only visible to you and the person you post on behalf of.

• Save draft will save the Post draft in Drafts > My drafts, found in the Channel Sidebar
• Share draft will publish the Post draft in Drafts > Shared drafts, also found in the Channel Sidebar

Save an Article draft

Articles are saved as drafts automatically once you begin typing in the title, lead text, or text body field. Like Posts, Article drafts will be saved into My drafts or Shared drafts.

To save a draft into Channel drafts, you will need to share the draft by:

1. Clicking the downwards pointing arrow next to Publish
2. And clicking Share draft

Edit and delete Post drafts

You can access Channel drafts from the Channel navigation and the Channel sidebar. In the below cases, we will use the Channel navigation drafts location as an example.

To edit a Post draft, you can:

1. Click Drafts from the Channel navigation menu
2. Click My drafts or Shared drafts 
3. Click the three dots next to the draft and click Edit post 
4. Click Update draft once you’re done editing

To delete a Post draft, you can:

1. Click Drafts from the Channel navigation menu
2. Click My drafts or Shared drafts
3. Click the three dots next to the draft and click Delete post

Edit and delete Article drafts

You can access Channel drafts from the Channel navigation and the Channel sidebar. In the below cases, we will use the Channel navigation drafts location as an example.

To edit an Article draft, you can:

1. Click Drafts from the Channel navigation menu
2. Click My drafts or Shared drafts 
3. Click the three dots next to the draft and click Edit Article 
4. Edit the article
   1. Edits will be saved automatically

To delete an Article draft, you can:

1. Click Drafts from the Channel navigation menu
2. Click My drafts or Shared drafts
3. Click the three dots next to the draft and click Delete Article

Publish a Post or Article draft

You can access Channel drafts from the Channel navigation and the Channel sidebar. In the below cases, we will use the Channel navigation drafts location as an example.

To publish a Post or Article draft, you will need to:

1. Click Drafts from the Channel navigation menu
2. Click My drafts or Shared drafts
3. Click the three dots next to the draft and click Publish
