Mute and Unmute Channels

In this article, you can learn how to mute and unmute notifications for Channels.

Use cases

Muting a Channel is a great feature to turn off a Channel's Notifications and remove its visibility from My Stream. It is most often used when the information is not directly relevant to you, but you still want to be a Participant in a Channel, or if the amount of activity in that Channel is distracting.

Managing a Channel

Happeo Channels can be managed easily from the Channel list. You can:

• Hide a Channel (the Channel will be hidden from the navigation and from My stream)
• Mute a Channel (the Channel will remain in the navigation, but be hidden from My Stream)
• Change Channel Notifications (the Channel Notification priority can be changed)

Mute a Channel

To mute a Channel:

1. Navigate to the Channels drop-down menu
2. Select the Channel you wish to mute
3. Scroll down to My Notification Settings and select Show
4. Click Muted

Unmute a Channel

Much like with muting a Channel, to unmute a Channel, you can:

1. Navigate to the Channels drop-down menu
2. Select the Channel you wish to mute
3. Scroll down to My Notification Settings and select Show
4. Click on any of the priority options that best suit your needs (except muted)
